At The Gathering at Scott Memorial, you’ll find a casual, “come as you are” environment where everyone is truly welcome. Worship is joyful, Spirit-led, and never cookie-cutter—things may change from week to week, but everything you need will be on the screen.
Here’s what a typical Sunday looks like:
Music
Our praise team leads a meaningful mix of modern worship songs and traditional hymns—blended in a fresh style that reflects the authentic heart of our community.
Kids & Families
Children are an important part of our worshiping community! Each week, our pastor or our Children’s & Youth Coordinator shares a special message just for kids that ties into the sermon.
We love the sound of children in worship—it’s part of who we are!
Message
Our pastor shares practical, scripture-based messages through sermon series that connect faith with everyday life. We believe God’s word shapes how we live out God’s will “on earth as it is in heaven,” and we read scripture through the Wesleyan lens of tradition, reason, and experience.
Communion
We celebrate communion every Sunday as a reminder of Christ’s love and grace. The table belongs to Jesus, and all are welcome.
Giving
We give back to God as a joyful response to God’s generosity in Christ. If you’re our guest, please know your presence is gift enough—we do not expect you to give. Offering baskets are passed during the closing song, and you can also give online [link].
